Allianz Commercial appoints Karol Dobias as Global Head of Multinational
Allianz Commercial announced today that Karol Dobias will become the new Global Head of Multinational of Allianz Commercial and Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty SE (‘AGCS’), with effect from June 1, 2026. Karol succeeds Guy Money who has been appointed as Regional Managing Director for Iberia in March. He will report to Jeremy Sharpe, Chief Distribution Officer at Allianz Commercial.
In line with the existing Multinational strategy, Karol’s priorities will be to continue to drive client-centric solutions, unlock growth through an expertise-based approach, deploy market-leading technologies worldwide, and scale the recently launched Multinational Excellence Center in Madrid.

Executive profile: Karol Dobias
Karol joined Allianz in 2003 in London and has since worked across several functions in Germany, Singapore, and Hong Kong, including an underwriting and a regional sales role with Allianz Partners. In the last six years, he has held leadership roles in Multinational, where he was part of the team that established Multinational as a dedicated function. He also led the Multinational Excellence Center Madrid launch in Q1 2026.
