Allianz Commercial announces Key Leadership Promotions
Allianz Commercial Asia Pacific announced today two key leadership promotions that will further drive the company’s ‘Customer First’ strategy and service delivery for clients and distribution partners. Jenny Wilhelm has been promoted to Managing Director, Allianz Commercial Singapore with effect from August 1, 2026. In this newly created role, Jenny will continue to report to Christian Sandric, President, Commercial, Asia Pacific and will be responsible for the strategic growth and performance of Allianz Commercial across Singapore, the ASEAN markets and Sri Lanka.
Jenny will be succeeded by William Slade, who has been promoted to Regional Head of Distribution, Asia with effect from August 1, 2026. He will join the Asia Pacific leadership team reporting to Christian Sandric and Jeremy Sharpe, Chief Distribution Officer at Allianz Commercial. In this role, he will drive the Asia Distribution strategy, developing and implementing plans to deliver smart growth across the region, including broker and client engagement. He is currently the Key Relationships Manager and Head of Portfolio Solutions, Asia.

Jenny Wilhelm
Jenny is an experienced leader with over 20 years in the insurance and legal industries. She joined Allianz Commercial in August 2017 as the Regional Head of Financial Lines for Southeast Asia and was promoted to Regional Head of Financial Lines & Cyber Asia in 2019. In September 2024, she assumed the role of Regional Head of Distribution for the Asia region where she worked closely with the Asia leadership team on driving the Distribution and go-to-market strategies to deliver on Allianz Commercial’s overall smart growth ambitions. This included developing and implementing strategic plans to further penetrate target markets, the continued build-out of distribution capabilities, strategic client management, and broker partnership engagement and development across the region.
William Slade
Will possesses over 10 years’ experience in the insurance industry spanning multiple functions within Allianz UK, Allianz SE and Allianz Commercial. With his most recent role in Asia as Key Relationships Manager and Head of Portfolio Solutions, Will was instrumental in leading Allianz Commercial’s core broker and client engagement strategy in Asia while driving the rollout of strategic portfolio solutions including multi-line deals, facilities and MGAs.
