Allianz Commercial promotes James Raven to lead Large Corp liability business for the UK

Allianz Commercial today announced the promotion of James Raven as the new Regional Head of Liability for the UK, effective immediately. 

In this role, James will lead the Allianz Commercial Large corporate liability business across the UK, with responsibility for the profitability and strategic direction of the portfolio. He assumes the role from Luke Baker who was appointed as Allianz Commercial’s Director UK Global and AGCS SE Branch Manager earlier this year.  James will report to Luke and continue to be based in Allianz’s London office.

James joined Allianz Commercial in 2022, having previously worked at different insurers across the market, in roles of increasing seniority across his 25 year career in insurance.  He brings his depth of knowledge and expertise of large corporate casualty business across many different industries to the new role.
