Notification of Insurance Portfolio Transfer

We wish to inform you that Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty SE Singapore Branch (AGCS SG) has transferred its international health insurance business to Allianz Insurance Singapore Pte. Ltd. (AIS). The transfer took effect at 0001 hours (Singapore time) on January 1, 2026.

This transfer is part of an internal reorganisation within the Allianz Group, which includes AGCS SG and AIS as subsidiaries of Allianz SE, a global entity headquartered in Germany. The transfer occurred through a scheme of transfer under section 117 of the Insurance Act 1966 between AGCS SG and AIS (the "Scheme"). 

The transfer received approval from the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and has been confirmed by the General Division of the High Court of Singapore. Copies of the Scheme and Notice can be found at the links below:

Following the transfer, AIS has assumed responsibility as the insurer for existing policies. Please visit the following websites for information about your international health insurance plan:

Correspondence and documentation related to these policies will feature the name "Allianz Insurance Singapore Pte. Ltd." from January 1, 2026.

The terms and conditions of the insurance policies remain unchanged, ensuring that policy obligations and benefits continue unaffected. Premiums outstanding, or due as of, or after January 1, 2026 should be directed to "Allianz Insurance Singapore Pte. Ltd."

To facilitate AIS in providing necessary services, personal data has been transferred to AIS in compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012. From January 1, 2026, AIS's privacy policy will govern the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data.
